Responsibilities:

•   Manage a growing engineering organization consisting of multiple teams.

• Define and drive team charter, vision, and strategy.
• Grow the engineering organization by hiring top talent and developing existing talent.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Lead the development and delivery of networking technologies across all of Microsoft

businesses, including Azure, Windows and Office.

• Grow a DevOps culture with a focus on making customers successful and improving

developer productivity

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing a team of engineers.
• 5+ years of software development experience with modern object-oriented programming

language, such as Python, and JavaScript (Node, React).

• BS in Computer Science or 5+ years of experience in systems programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have coding, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of systems software
• Solid architectural skills backed up by implementation experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A track record of solid results across multiple ship cycles
• Experience with networking protocols and architecture
• Thorough understanding of modern computer architectures found in desktop PCs and servers, including networking.
